It ominously revealed the purpose of life, which had billions of people spent their lifetime trying to discover. Humans are generally the most intelligent forms of life in the natural world. Though some people believe in the existence of intelligent aliens, there is no definitive proof that they exist or are concerned about us. This implies that human beings are the only known intelligent life form in the entire universe. However, competition for the smartest being is now coming from another source, artificial intelligence.
AI has been around since ancient Greek myths, which talked about robots that were capable of inanimate objects that could become intelligent. Later on, Chinese and Egyptian engineers built automatons that were capable of carrying out specific tasks. However, the modern era of AI started during a conference at Dartmouth College in Hanover, where the term "AI" was coined in 1956.
Regardless of the enthusiasm of attendees and scientists at that time for the future of AI, they would soon find that creating human-made intelligence was not easy. AI is the embodiment of coding and processing power beyond the current human ability. It can analyze vast volumes of data, learn from experience, and work tirelessly without taking breaks. Nevertheless, the technology cannot replace human intelligence but rather significantly enhance it.

This revelation was unusual, and it quickly sparked debate and raised concerns about AI's ability to think beyond human ability. However, it is crucial to note that AI was only able to reveal the purpose of life because it has been programmed to do so by a human being.
In conclusion, AI is the future of technology, and it has enormous potentials to enhance human life. Thus, the fear factor surrounding the technology has little substance. As AI continues to evolve, it has the potentials of solving complex problems, such as global warming, disease control, and poverty eradication, among others. Therefore, instead of fear and pessimism, we need to embrace the technology and its potentials fully.
